Applying value stream mapping in packaging industry: a case study

Abstract The aim of this paper is to increase the productivity a packaging manufacturing process by using lean technique. current system has been mapped Value Stream Mapping (VSM) tool. This tool tool, and wastes in are identified. case study shows how VSM utilized for identifying decreasing waste resulting total cost saving 3,247,251 Thai Baht (THB) per year.
